How do I share my information?

Does the person receiving my card need an app?
No. They just tap their phone or scan the QR code and your profile opens in the browser. You only need the Popl app once, to create and edit your profile.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The NFC tap works from iPhone 7 onward and on most Android phones (turn on NFC in settings if it's off). If a phone has no NFC, the QR code on the back is used instead.
How do I activate my Popl when it arrives?
Scan the QR code on the card to activate it from the app or dashboard, and start sharing your profile.
Can I update my details later?
Yes, anytime from the app. Your card always points to your up-to-date profile: change a detail and it's live instantly, nothing to reprint.
What can I share with Popl?
Practically anything you want: contact methods, social networks, content like photos, videos and websites, contact and scheduling forms, payment methods, music and, in general, any link at all. It's very easy to set up: to add a link you just paste it into the Popl app, and for your social networks you simply enter your username. You choose which fields are shown.
Is it a subscription?
No. The card is a one-time purchase and sharing your profile is free. Popl offers an optional Pro plan (around US$7.99/mo) with advanced features, but you don't need it to use the card.
How does the other person save my details?
After receiving your digital card, they can save your contact to their phone or open your links with one tap, no app to install.
Is it safe to share my information with Popl?
Yes. You control which fields you show and can edit or hide them whenever you want. If something changes, you update the profile and it's live instantly.
Can I have a personal and a professional profile?
Yes. With the app's paid plans you can create extra profiles and switch by context. You can also have two cards: one personal, one professional.
Can I customize my Popl profile design?
